March Twirly Girl of the Month: Diana!

March’s Twirly Girl of the Month is our very own, Diana!  If you haven’t taken a spinny pole class with Diana, check out the website and give us a call!

How did you find Twirly Girls?

I did an online search.

How long have you been a Twirly Girl?

Since July 2011.

Did you pole dance before becoming a TG?

Yes, I danced for about a year before I came to Twirly Girls.

Which class(es) do you take?  Who is your instructor?

I take the SLAPD class with the wonderful and talented Shelly Lamb =) She is so awesome, I just love her! I learned more from her in the first few months than I did in the whole year before I came here.

Which move were you most excited to nail?

My cartwheel mount. That thing gave me so much more trouble than any other move I’ve tried to learn.

Have you taken any workshops?  Which was your favorite?

I have taken workshops with Jenyne Butterfly, Alethea Austin, Pantera, Natasha Wang, David Owen and Phillip Deal. They were all really fun and helpful. I learned something new and cool in each one and I loved them all!

Do you like to dance in heels or barefoot?

What is your favorite song to dance to (at this moment)?

Agh! My pole playlist has 300 songs on it but I’ll narrow it down a bit. Supermassive Black Hole – Muse, Broken Pieces – Apocalyptica, Bad Company – Five Finger Death Punch, Oh My God – Pink, Dark Holiday – Dommin, Moves Like Jagger – Maroon Five, It Was You – 12 Stones, and Set Apart This Dream – Flyleaf.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Writing ridiculous Harry Potter fan fics, watching The Vampire Diaries, and reading romance novels =)
