Welcome 14433190_10154638835203901_5361445884891891496_nJill Breckenridge to our Twirly Family!

Have you ever worked on your dance routine and you just felt there was something missing. You just knew that if you had more of a dance background, you’d be able to find that missing link! Often times working with a dance instructor can really help connect the missing pieces. Or maybe you just want to be a better dancer!

Jill will be teaching various dance classes starting in March!

Jill  has a combined 23 years experience in modern, contemporary, ballroom, jazz, tap and performance dancing.   Jill is also a professionally certified Cardio Barre instructor.

New to the San Francisco Bay Area, and originally from Boston MA. Jill received her BFA in Modern Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia PA and began her journey west. In that time she has danced professionally in Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Portland, and San Diego. Some of her work includes being a showgirl in Jubilee!, a hair model/dancer for L’Oreal Professional, a ballroom dance competitor, as well a dancer for San Diego Dance Theater. Her passion is to learn as many styles of dance as possible so she can share the many benefits, the diverse world of dance can offer.

Teaching her first dance class when she was 18, Jill has almost ten years of teaching experience. In those years she has taught all ages from 8-98 and a variety of styles including ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, salsa, swing, hustle, foxtrot, tango, waltz, rumba, and cha cha. She has choreographed first dances, father daughter dances, solo routines, duets, flash mobs, and group numbers. Her favorite thing about choreographing is being able to add personal touches and choosing movement based on the individual(s), customizing the dance to the dancer(s).
